Springfield Chill Out! Two Fights This Weekend Gather Large Police Attention..

The Springfield Police are reporting two incidents this weekend which drew a lot of attention.

The first one was Saturday Night outside Lanphier High School, in which four people were injured. The fight started when one 17-year-old boy stabbed another 17-year-old boy. The victim started hitting the person who stabbed him, and then more people got involved. Springfield Police report that the two 17-year-olds have been involved in an ongoing dispute.

When the 911 call was made on this incident it came across as 30 individuals fighting, but when police arrived the fight had already broken up. Police arrested two 17-year-olds, a 16 year old, and Tre’von Fonza. Tre’von was charged with aggravated battery and mob action.

Then on Sunday night police were dispatched to White Oaks Mall for a stabbing/assault. According to the Springfield Police the assailants left the mall in a vehicle and the investigation is still on going.
