You may remember back in May Stefan here was arrested on four counts of conspiracy to obstruct justice. This was in relation to the March 28th shooting death of 12-year-old Rayshone Humphrey, Jr.
Mr. Crider was remanded to the Adams County Jail with a $100,000 bond. His attorney filed a speedy trial demand and pushed his case fast with court system. Mr. Crider sat in the Adams County Jail the entire time unable to post the $10,000CASH needed to bond out.
He was set for a Jury Trial September 14th, 2015 and on September 9th, 2015 the State Dismissed all charges against him.
Talk about the innocent sitting in jail for 4 months almost just to be let go… How is this fair? What if his attorney wouldn’t have pushed for a speedy trial? Would he have sat years like some of the defendants in Sangamon County? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
