Back in JACQUELINE BURNES Back In The Courthouse News, Testifies She is “Workin Wit Da Police”! we told you “Ms. Burnes has a pending felony case (2015-CF-000230) in Sangamon County for Aggravated Battery which she testified in court was in relation to CHILD ABUSE and her kids were in DCFS custody because of it. Listen here though she had a Status hearing on December 3rd, 2015, on that day the case was set for Plea Hearing 12/16/15 at 10:00 AM before the Honorable Judge Graves. Andrew A. Elem allegedly is in jail for a December 2nd, 2015 case (2015-CF-001231), the same case Ms. Burnes stated she was working with the police on. Kind of fishy here Ms. Burnes…”
Well on 12/16/2015 Ms. Burnes did in fact plead guilty and received probation. The order of the court reads as “Cause called for hearing on Defendant’s motion to withdraw plea of not guilty to Count I, AGGRAVATED BATTERY, a Class 3 Felony. Defendant advised of rights and possible penalties and knowingly waives same. Plea of guilty accepted. udgment entered on plea. Pursuant to negotiations, the Defendant is hereby sentenced to 2 years’ probation. Count II dismissed pursuant to plea. Defendant is ordered to pay $100.00 Victim Fund Fee, cooperate with all DCFS orders and recommendations, and attend parenting classes. Defendant is ordered to register as a violent offender against youth victim under 13.”
That same day (12/16/2015) Sangamon County Assistant States Attorney McClure filed a Two County Felony Case (2015-CF-001271) against Ms. Burnes. That case is set for First Appearance on Jan 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Courtroom 5C.
